The Biggest Surge Yet

We just released Surge 1.3 for Mac, and it’s a massive update. Here’s what’s new:
Multiple profiles. Your Mac can now carry your whole household. With the new profile picker, each person signs in once and gets their own Surge instance, complete with their own tabs, bookmarks, history, and equity. You can switch profiles with ease, and every click lands in the right equity ledger.
Sleeker design. The gorgeous design you know from iPhone has come to Mac. The stylized Surge wordmark now adorns your new tab pages and clean fully native sign-in screens make signing in feel buttery smooth.
Full control over your equity. You can now delete any click from your equity ledger, or delete your entire account, right from Surge. No support tickets, no exit interviews, no delays.
More secure equity. Your equity is a record of your economic stake in the Co-op, and it must be protected. Your equity page now comes with password and Touch ID protection.
Movie night is unlocked. Protected streaming now plays in Surge, so you can watch content on Disney+, HBO Max, YouTube movies, and more. Netflix requires a verification credential that only Google can issue, and we’ve requested ours.
Newest Chromium. We rebuilt Surge on the latest Chromium, so everything is faster, smoother, and more secure.
Intel-friendly. Surge now runs on Macs with Intel chips.
If you’re already using Surge, all you have to do is relaunch when you see “New Surge available” in the toolbar. New to Surge? Welcome to the greatest browsing experience ever to grace a desktop.
